So you like rocks, minerals and fossils! We enjoy geology too and that's why we formed Nationwide Geology Club, over 25 years ago. Whatever the level from a casual interest in rocks, minerals and fossils to degree level and beyond, we're probably the Club for you. What's unique about us? - probably our people, we are just about as diverse as you can get, meeting together in some of the best places to do geology and learning from each other. If this is your first encounter with the Club, you are especially welcome. We hope that having read this, you'll want to rush off your membership form and join us.

We are an educational charity set up to provide geological field experience for all but especially the young. We currently have around 70 members including a couple of family groups. We're especially keen to welcome children as part of a family group.

We are proud to sponsor an annual competition, open to all young people under 18, under the title of the "NCG Earth Science Challenge" - details of which will appear in Down to Earth. This is fulfilling our charitable object to encourage young people to participate in geology.
